Sarah Brotherson graduated from Kansas State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees, a Major in Social Sciences and a Major in Life Span Human Development.  Upon graduation in 2004, Sarah moved to Glenwood Springs, CO.  At that time, she began her career with Mountain Valley Developmental Services as a Case Manager in the adult program.  She then transitioned into a Case Manager in the Early Intervention Program.  In 2013 she began working as the Placement Manager, as well, managing the waitlists for adult services and making disability determinations for new individuals interested in receiving services.  In 2015, Sarah was promoted to the Director of Child and Family Services position.

Sarah also assists with internal investigations and sits on several community councils, providing information and support for children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.
